Hi all!

Ahh it's been ages since I've been on good old DA! How are you all?

So it has been a pretty mental few months. Crazy busy with uni, a few health issues and planning to move out. Hence the lack of updates lately! But I am looking to change that over the next few weeks and completely re-vamp my cyber space. I now have a model mayhem profile and Facebook page so if you could please check those out and 'like', or 'add' them that would be amazing!

In other related  news I will be at London MCM Expo on Saturday. I will be cosplaying as Juliet Starling from Lollipop chainsaw (awesome game) so anyone that is going look out for me and come say hi!

I Haven't done a journal in sooooo long! There's a lot to catch up on, but for now this will be a quick one. So New York was amazing! I will eventually get round to uploading some of my photography from there. I have also finished the art course I was studying and my final exhibition went so well! It was wonderful to see everyone's work come together. I got my results - triple distinction (which is one of the highest marks you can get for a btec) which I'm really happy with as I was extrmley stressed about it for a while.

I also found out I got into my uni course! So as from September I will be studying special effects make up and prosthetics! I'm soooooo excited, and hopefully you'll be seeing a lot of my work then. I have also started up my hand made jewellery business again for the summer so will make an account/website for that too. I also now have some free time this summer therefore will have time to do a few more photo shoots! I have a few really fun ones planned. I see I have a few new watchers lately so "Hi!" and of course hello and thanks again to all my old watchers as well! I promise I'll be on here more regularly soon!

I also have a new Tumblr where I mostly post photos I really like/find inspiring so you can check that out too! I will also be making a Tumblr for my sfx company and that will be a blog mostly based around the horror genre. But for nowheres my current personal one: Click here to go to it! Please do not mock me for my extremely nerdy url, yes I play wow and yes I love it!

Bye for now and see/speak you all soon! x

Howdy all!

So I've not been on much again so I though I would catch you all up on what I've been up to! (I feel I say that a lot lately, I wish I had more time).

A few months ago I applied for a uni course to study special effects/prosthetics. I was then invited for a portfolio viewing which caused much stress as I had about a week to put together a whole protfolio. But after a lot of sleepless nights I got it all finished. On the day there was a group of about 30 people there for the portfolio viewing. We all had to leave out folders there, then come back after a few hours to find out if any of us had got though to the next stage (an interview). When we all returned (to find out our fate....dun dun dun), they told us only one person had an interview.....and it was me! Overall I think the interview went well, but I don't want to jinx it. I've now been waiting to hear back to find out if I got onto te course or not. The deadline is tomorrow so I should know by then. *fingers crossed*

Other exciting news includes the fact I am currently In New York! I've only been here 2days but I have been all around the Natural History Museum. I'm very sleepy now though, and falling asleep while typing this. So I'll update this properly tomorrow.

*updated* so I found out today I won't hear back from the uni till Monday :( Very annoying! However the trip to New York is going well and when I get back home to London I will have lots of awesome photos to upload. :)

Hi guys!!

Wow! It's been ages since I've actually been on here properly and not just browsing :/ As per usual, hospital stuff and other work took over for a little while. But I'll start posting more on here soon, including my modelling/cosplay, photography and some character design too!

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and New year! (Very late I know) I was hoping to have done a Christmassy shoot, but didn't have the time as I was in Italy for Christmas - YAAY! Whatever you guys got up to,  hope it was fun!

So I'm gonna keep this short, but will be uploading more soon! :3

I am also currently 'cleaning up' my DA account - deleting images I don't like any more, and sorting out the folders!

I don't normally do these 're-post' if things, but this one meant something!

" A teacher in New York was teaching her class about bullying and gave them the following exercise to perform. She had the children take out a piece of paper and told them to crumple it up, stomp on it and really mess it up, not to rip it. Then she had them unfold the paper, smooth it out and look at how scarred and dirty it was. She then told them to tell it they're sorry. Now, even though they said they were sorry and tried to fix the paper, she pointed out all the scars they left behind. And that those scars will never go away no matter how hard they tried to fix it. That is what happens when a child bullies another child, they may say they're sorry, but the scars are there forever. The looks on the faces of the children in the classroom told her the message hit home. Copy and paste this if you are against bullying.

Let's see who will actually re-post this. This is a test to see who's paying attention. Copy and re-post in your own journal. Let's see who the real people are. Re-post this if you care about this kind of situation. Just copy and paste this in a new bulletin as "Fake" "

Essy: Or re-post with the title as anything you want! Just from personal experience, scars, whether they are emotional or physical do get left behind! So I feel this paper metaphor is perfect!! Sometimes the emotional ones are a lot worse, as thy can damage us and have an effect on ho we become in the future. Bullying whether it is in the classroom, online, at home or anywhere else can happen in so many different ways. It can go unnoticed for ages. I'm currently doing a project on domestic abuse, so felt this fitted well. I have both types of scars, and even though when I see the physical ones it makes angry sometimes, other times I can see, and think yeah I'm stronger! However the emotional ones I have recently realised have changed how I deal with certain situations and how I act. Words that can be said to us leave the deepest scars of all, no matter how much we try to shut them out. It doesn't matter how much someone can say they are sorry, they are still there. So please, if you have anyone in your life doing this to you on a continual bases, get away from it if you can. And surround yourself with people who matter/care!
